About Us
Welcome to our little corner of the internet built for everyone who loves Nintendo 3DS games and the magic of emulation.
We started this space because we noticed something. After Citra was officially discontinued in 2024, thousands of players were left searching for reliable information, tips, and updates scattered across forums and old threads.
So we decided to bring it all together in one place.
Our Coverage
What We Do Here
Our team covers everything related to Citra and 3DS emulation. From setup guides and configuration tips to performance fixes and compatibility lists, we try to make the learning curve a bit easier.
We write tutorials in plain language. No confusing jargon. No long-winded explanations that leave you more puzzled than when you started.
Whether you are running Citra on a high-end PC, an Android phone, or trying out community forks like Lime3DS, Azahar, or Mandarine, you will find content here that speaks to your setup.
Why We Exist
Our Mission
We want to keep the spirit of 3DS gaming alive for people who still cherish those handheld memories.
The Nintendo 3DS gave us some of the most creative titles in gaming history. Games like Animal Crossing New Leaf, Fire Emblem Awakening, Pokemon X and Y, and The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds deserve to be remembered and replayed.
Emulation helps preserve that legacy.
The Team
Who We Are
We are a small group of writers, gamers, and tech enthusiasts who grew up with handhelds in our pockets. Some of us collect physical cartridges. Others modded their consoles years ago. A few joined the emulation world only recently.
What we share is a genuine love for the platform.
None of us works for Nintendo. We are not affiliated with the original Citra development team either. This site exists purely out of passion for the community.
Content
What You Will Find
Our content covers a wide range of topics that matter to 3DS emulation users.
You will find detailed installation walkthroughs for Windows, macOS, Linux, and Android.
We post articles about graphics settings, audio configurations, and controller mapping.
When new forks or community builds get released, we cover them quickly.
We also share game compatibility updates, troubleshooting tips for common errors, and news about the broader emulation scene.
Our guides are tested before we publish them. If something does not work on our end, we will not tell you it works on yours.
Accuracy
Honest Information Matters
The internet is full of outdated tutorials and misleading information about emulators. We have seen websites recommend sketchy downloads or push readers toward ROM sites that violate copyright law.
We do not do that here.
Our Approach
Our articles focus on legitimate use cases. We always recommend that users dump their own game files from cartridges they legally own. Emulation is a wonderful tool, but it works best when paired with respect for the games and developers behind them.
